Biography
James Ward Morrow graduated from Johns Hopkins with a BA in Political Science and received his JD from the University of Maryland School of Law. He also has been a:
- Member of the United States Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit Bar from 1996-current.
- Member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.
- Life member of the Sierra Club-Md Chapter.
- Dues paying union member of Local 2, Office and Professional Employees International Union-OPEIU, AFL-CIO, and served on its shop contract bargaining/steward team.
- Obama Delegate candidate in 2008 for the Democratic National Convention.
- Baltimore area Assistant State’s Attorney and former Special Assistant United States Attorney.
- Community Association based economic redevelopment leader while serving on the Southeast Community Development Corporation, Inc-SECDC, Board of Directors and former Chair of the Southeast Community Organization.
- Previous member on the Maryland State Democratic Central Committee from 1985-1986 and 2002-2005.
- Active member of the legal community serving on the American Bar Association-Labor and Employment Law Section, Administrative Law Section, Lawyers Coordinating Committee of the AFL-CIO, the Labor Law, Administrative Law and previously the Criminal Law sections of the Maryland State Bar Association, and served on the Judicial Selection Committee of the Baltimore City Bar Association.

- Member of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland Bar from 1990-current and Maryland Bar since 1989.
